Defence Day
Defence Day was celebrated in primary section on 8th, September, 2016. It started at 7:45 AM with the recitation of Holy Quran by Master Syed Mannan Bin Adnan of class VC followed by Urdu translation Miss Afia Marium of VC and the whole program was hosted by Miss Noor Fatima of class VD.
Miss Rameen Tahir and Miss Zainub Fatima from class VD delivered motivational speeches regarding Defence Day .After the speeches, a large number of participants from the whole ‘Primary Section’ presented a tableau on a National Song by Shehzad Roy. They were portrayed as Army, Navy, Air force, and great Muslim leaders like Quaid -e -Azam, Allama Iqbal etc. Everyone enjoyed the tableau with full zeal and enthusiasm.
Certificates were also distributed in the winners of HRCA through the hands of worthy Chief Guest Captain Zaheer Ahmed principal of Bahria College NORE I. Miss Omema Shehzad from class VL and Kanwal Ayub from class VR clinched ‘Bronze Medals’ in the arts and essay competition.
After the certificate distribution ceremony, Chief Guest, shared his valueable words about the history of Defence Day and he motivated the students to serve their country.
The ceremony ended with the “National Anthem”. It was an interesting and knowledgeable event for the young Bahrians.
